There is going to be a moment where violence is the answer; I don't see any of this getting involved non-violently. I suspect the right moment may be when enough white people believe violence is the answer; but every movement has its vanguard as well. The right initial targets are probably those non-whites who are very obviously guilty and have very obviously not been punished by the state; and also those whites who have been particularly egregious in their anti-white behavior.
Another point is that if white commit acts of violence against obviously-deserving-it targets who are non-white, the non-white communities will then retaliate against innocent whites, which, if publicized, will rally other whites to the cause.
I think your second point is spot on with the main issue regarding violence. It would quickly escalate and spiral out of control. Especially with how decentralized the movement is and the amount of disunity.
